Sweet & Spicy Prosciutto Flatbread with Micro Arugula

Ingredients:

  • 1 flatbread

  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tbsp garlic butter spread

  • 2 tbsp artichoke pesto

  • Fresh mozzarella, sliced

  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Prosciutto slices

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven

- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

- If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.


2. Prepare the Crust

- Place the flatbread on a baking sheet or a preheated pizza stone.

- Brush the crust with olive oil to ensure it becomes crispy when baked.


3. Garlic Butter Spread

- Evenly spread the garlic butter over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.


4. Pesto Layer

- Spread a layer of artichoke pesto over the garlic butter.

- This will add a flavorful base to your flatbread.


5. Add Cheese

- Arrange slices of fresh mozzarella evenly over the pesto layer.


6. Add Cherry Tomatoes

- Distribute the halved cherry tomatoes over the cheese layer.


7. Bake the Flatbread

- Place the flatbread in the preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.


8. Add Prosciutto

- Remove the flatbread from the oven and immediately lay the slices of prosciutto over the top.

- The residual heat will slightly warm the prosciutto without overcooking it.


9. Add Micro Arugula
